Nati0nal Government Services (NGS) has identified an issue with reason code 31814 and 31947 when a functional limitation reporting G-code is billed with noncovered charges. NGS began releasing claims on 08/29/2016 with claims being suspended for reason code U6000. NGS has also discovered numerous claims rejected because these adjustments are being applied to the beneficiary’s therapy cap, placing them over the legislative limit and rejecting in error, and affecting provider payment. NGS will issue an update when available.
