Laser (class 4) I believe is in our scope of practice but you don’t see it much in PT clinics. I’m sure this is partly because of the cost of acquiring the laser itself. Is there any restriction for this to be an independent cash based modality for PT? The typical visits/timeframe will fall within the Michigan direct access guideline?
The class of the laser does not require physician oversight, correct?
