  1. During this PHE we are challenged by receiving the signed certification from Medical providers.

    Is there language written anywhere that eases the timeline for obtaining the certification?

  2. Could you clarify what you believe is meant by general supervision for PTA’s in private practice in treating Medicare patients? Also, could you provide direction as to where that language can be found?

    1. General supervision means the PT is available to the PTA if needed, but is not on the premise or in the same room as the PTA when the PTA is treating the patient. If you have questions about supervision requirements in your state, you would want to contact your State Board or State therapy association.
