The National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) edits are updated quarterly by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). NCCI Edits Version 30.2 will be effective for dates of service July 1 – September 30, 2024. There are 2 new edits that could have an impact on outpatient therapy billing if you are providing caregiver training services and billing CPT codes 97550 or 97552.
