UnitedHealthcare Transitioning to Electronic Claim Reconsiderations and Post-Service Appeals
In 2023, UnitedHealthcare (UHC) is working to reduce the amount of paper that providers submit for reconsiderations and appeals. This means, beginning February 1, 2023, private practices and facilities will be required to submit claim reconsiderations and post-service appeals electronically. This change affects most network professionals (private practices) and facilities that provide services to commercial and UnitedHealthcare® Medicare Advantage plan members.
