The American Medical Association (AMA) has released the 2027 CPT codes. In this release, are 10 new speech therapy CPT codes. Effective January 1, 2027, CPT code 92507 is being deleted. It is being replaced with 10 new CPT codes. In addition, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is proposing a HCPCS G-code for pediatrics. If finalized, this G-code will be used by the Medicare program to reimburse for speech therapy services for pediatrics up to the age of 21.
