His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas including CPT and ICD-10 coding, billing, documentation compliance, revenue enhancement, and practice management, particularly within outpatient therapy services.
Gawenda is a proactive educator and consultant, sharing his knowledge through national presentations and offering approximately 100 seminars annually across the United States.

Michelle Gawenda, RN, received her nursing degree from Sentara School of Health Professions in 2005. Prior to her role with Gawenda Seminars & Consulting, Inc. she co-founded and operated Kinetix Advanced Physical Therapy, a physical therapy practice with multiple locations in Southern California, for 17 years.
Mrs. Gawenda has experience in private practice start-up, practice management, and revenue enhancement. She also has experience in contracting, marketing, and provider relations. Additionally, she has experience performing outpatient therapy medical record audits to ensure documentation compliance.
