  1. I’m looking for information on whether or not a PTA can bill the selective debridement codes without a PT assessing the wound each visit? For example, if the PT has instructed the PTA on what dressing changes, enzymatic debridement, etc are indicated, can that PTA bill 97597 and/or 97598 without the PT on site to assess each visit (in Kentucky). Thank you.
