From 2011-2023, physical rehabilitation reimbursement declined 40.0%. Physical rehabilitation has become a low margin industry. Organizations who achieve and maintain solid profit margins will understand the Key Performance Indicators that drive their revenue cycle. Going forward, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) will have a profound impact your organization’s bottom line.

In this session, you will learn what RCM Key Performance Indicators are important, how to track them, how often to track them, their impact on your bottom, whether outsourcing or keeping your RCM in-house is the better option, how to overcome common RCM challenges, how intake and front office workflow impact your RCM, and how payer mix impacts RCM. This session will cover RCM across the physical rehabilitation continuum. Participants will leave the session with practical ways to improve their organization’s RCM and bottom line.
