How do these codes work with an evaluation or re-evaluation? Can they be billed in concurrent sessions to an evaluation?
You would need to check with each payer. I doubt you would be able to complete a developmental test assessment and another evaluation during the same treatment session.
In the example of the developmental test taking 2/10 and 2/17 to complete, how would you document that you were billing for both sessions on 2/17? Would you complete a note for 2/10 with no charges?
You would document what you did on 02/10. You would need to figure out with your EMR system how to close out the note without entering any charges.
