CMS Releases FY 2018 SNF Final Rule
On July 31, 2017, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the final rule for fiscal year (FY) 2018 payment and policy changes for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). FY 2018 begins on October 1, 2017 and ends on September 30, 2018.
The final rule discusses payment changes for FY 2018, SNF Quality Reporting program (QRP), SNF Value-Based Purchasing Program (VBP), End-Stage Renal Disease Quality Incentive Program, and survey team composition, just to name a few.
