Has there been any update or information concerning 74230, 92611, MBS, Modified Barium Swallow, modifier 59, speech therapy. Medicare is currently not remitting payment for both services on the same day. The claim was submitted with the Mod 59 attached to the Radiology charge.

That edit was removed with a retroactive date back to December 31, 2019.
Is there a MLN matters, or announcement for this? We are fighting with BCBS as they are only going back to April for reprocessed claims, not 12/31/2019.
You would need to check the NCCI edits for the effective date of the deletion of this edit.
