AMA Moves Forward with New SLP CPT Codes
The American Medical Association (AMA) voted to move forward with the new speech therapy CPT codes that were approved in September 2025. During the CPT Editorial Panel meeting held April 30 – May 2, 2026, the AMA rejected 2 proposals that were submitted to replace what the AMA approved in September 2025.
