Noridian TENS Clarification Article
Noridian has retired their TENS clarification article with an effective date of June 18, 2018. The summary provided by Noridian states the following: “This is retired due to lack of evidence of current problems and CMS NCDs 10.2,160.7.1 160.27 guidelines regarding the medical necessary uses and coverage of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), the supplies and assessing the suitability for electrical nerve stimulation therapy.
