The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has published the 2017 Medicare Parts A and B premiums and deductibles. In this article, I will address the following for calendar year 2017:

  • Inpatient hospital deductible
  • Skilled Nursing Facility coinsurance
  • Medicare Part B monthly premium amount
  • Medicare Part B deductible
  • How the Medicare Part B deductible may impact the annual therapy cap

    1. The Part A deductible only went up $28 from 2016. The Part A deductible is for inpatient hospitalization.
